Ness retired in 2011 after an illustrious 37-year coaching track that produced a state team title and four individual state champions in ACGC. Ness is also a freelance writer. โ€œIโ€™m an avid Press reader,โ€ said Ness. โ€œThe writers at the Press do an excellent job of telling a story, and I think thatโ€™s one of the reasons it is so enjoyable.โ€ Ness and his wife, Geri, live by Fort Ransom, North Dakota.
